About
The International Advocacy Initiative was designed to encourage young adults aged 18-30 to get involved in the fields of law, politics, human rights, and international relations, through debates, roundtable discussions, guest speakers, competitions, publication opportunities and campaigns.
We were founded in 2025 as a collective of young voices, dedicated to enabling greater outreach and educating young adults about legal and political affairs. It is our mission to offer opportunities in these fields to inspire greater involvement and provide young people with the experience they need to advance their interest in these areas.
Membership to the International Advocacy Initiative is free and we encourage anyone within the 18-30 age range to sign up today and join us through our in-person or online events and opportunities.
Debates
We hold regular debates on a range of topics, with the subject being chosen by members and announced a week in advance to allow participants a chance to prepare and conduct any necessary research.

Publication
Our International Advocacy Initiative Journal is an opportunity for any member to submit their written work on a related topic to be entered into our journal, which is published online annually. Entries must be between 1,000 and 3,000 words, and they should be sent to our editor at iadvocacyinitiative@gmail.com.
Please note that all entries will be reviewed before being added to the Journal and each member can submit up to 4 essays per year.
Network
We are proud to partner with charities, organisations and universities to get involved in campaigns and offer our members the opportunity to connect and expand their own network.
